What Cooren is
Cooren, described by its makers as a unified coordination engine or system of action, is a lightweight component of about 1.55 MB that automates consensus between different actors. It is designed to coordinate human-to-human, machine-to-machine and system-to-system interactions.
How it works
The engine follows a Listen-Act-Close pattern and, according to the site, handles thousands of concurrent requests with low server overhead. Security centres on single-use cryptographic tokens that authorise each interaction, which the makers say keeps the attack surface very small.
Where it fits
- Logistics, such as fast load tendering between parties
- Manufacturing, for machine-to-machine orchestration
- Events and other settings that need rapid, verifiable agreement
Cooren is currently in private beta for selected partners, so public documentation is limited and full details are per the official site.
